SHOUT OUT: Lodi police tonight had their first Narcan save, rescuing an unconscious, overdosing 19-year-old heroin user with two doses of the life-saving drug.
He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center after Officer Philip Noble, responding to Burns Avenue just after 6:30 p.m., brought him around.
“A job well done,” Lodi Police Chief Vincent Quatrone told CLIFFVIEW PILOT, noting that all of his officers have been trained and certified to deploy Narcan in such emergencies.
