SHOUT OUT: Fair Lawn police taught 44 youngsters about respect, teamwork and discipline at the annual Junior Police Academy this past week the John A. Forrest School.
The 11- to 14-year-old cadets were treated to demonstrations by Fair Lawn police officers and members of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the Bergen County Office of Emergency Management and Children’s Aid & Family Services, as well as fire instructors at the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute in Mahwah.
