A law enforcement delegation from New Jersey left the country before dawn this morning for Santo Domingo for what Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler and said is “an official visit to forge ties and build a networking relationship with the Dominican Republic National Police and the Dominican community in our area.”
Others on the five-day trip sponsored by the United States Asian American Law Enforcement Foundation are Al Della Fave (above, right) a retired New Jersey State Police major who is the public information officer for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office. Della Fave previously was with Port Authority police.
With them are Paul Cell, the Montclair State University Chief of Police and 3rd Vice-President of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and David Chong who founded the Asian-American law enforcement group.
“This type of visit allows our organization and our law enforcement partners to build relationships and a feeling of trust between the different countries and their agencies,” Kugler (above, left) told Daily Voice. READ MORE….
