SHOUT OUT: “Everyone has a family member, a friend, or just knows someone who’s battled cancer,” Fairview Police Chief Thomas Juliano said in officially announcing his department’s participation in “No Shave November.”
In doing so, Juliano hopes to inspire civilian men, as well, to sport beards, mustaches and goatees to help raise money and awareness.
“It’s all for a great cause,” said Deputy Chief Martin Kahn, who is maintaining the web page where donations can be made.
The proceeds will go toward the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Prevent Cancer Foundation, and Fight Colorectal Cancer. READ MORE….
