Westwood Police Chief Frank Regino was installed Saturday night as this year’s president of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association during a dinner attended by several hundred people at the Rockleigh Country Club in Demarest.
Frank Regino began his career with the Westwood Police Department on March 17, 1974. Upon graduation from the police academy that year, he received the Herbert H. Allmers Memorial Award as the class’ Outstanding Student.
Regino was a patrol officer for more than 16 years and attended various service courses, earning various certificates. He was promoted to sergeant in 1990 and for the next nine years served as patrol supervisor. READ MORE….
