SHOUT OUTS: With his young daughter holding the Bible, Daniel Neu was sworn as Leonia’s fire chief on Monday night — as were several of his ranking officers.
Also sworn were Deputy Chief Dan Panarotto, Lt. Jack Peters, Lt. Tom Caruolo, Lt. Jack Dunn and Lt. Steve Oxnard.
Neu replaced Gary Nicholas, who resigned in July after moving out of Leonia.
Capt. John Biondi didn’t attend the council reorganization meeting.
